Week 8 of the college football season is here, and it offers four matchups between top-25 teams, all in pivotal conference games that could have huge implications on the College Football Playoff.

No. 6 Michigan travels to No. 24 Michigan State after the Wolverines and Spartans beat Wisconsin and Penn State, respectively. in ACC action, undefeated, 16th-ranked N.C. State travels to Death Valley to take on No. 3 Clemson. No. 22 Mississippi State takes on No. 5 LSU in Tiger Stadium and No. 12 Oregon travels to Pullman to play No. 25 Washington State.
