College football schedule today: TV coverage, channels, scores for Week 0 FBS games image

Official or not, college football starts Saturday with a Week 0 slate that features double-digit games, including a nationally broadcast conference game between Power 5 opponents.

This week's slate includes 11 games involving FBS programs, including the headliner, Nebraska vs. Northwestern. That game, the only one that will be nationally broadcast during the opening week, will take place in Dublin.

Scott Frost can only hope his Cornhuskers produce a similar outcome from last year's meeting against the Wildcats: Nebraska demolished the fellow Big Ten West team, 56-7. Frost and Co. will need to produce more of those results in 2022, as the fifth-year coach has yet to lead his alma mater to a winning season (he is 15-29 in the previous four years).

Of course, that isn't the only game of Week 0, though it should produce the biggest storylines with relation to the national stage.
