College football schedule: What bowl games are on today? Time, channels, scores for New Year’s Eve image

Until its loss to Oregon in the Pac-12 championship game, Utah had a legitimate chance of reaching the College Football Playoff.

While the No. 11 Utes missed their shot at a possible Playoff matchup against LSU, they did secure a bid to Tuesday's Alamo Bowl where they'll face Texas.

That game headlines a five-contest New Year's Eve bowl offering. The Belk Bowl, Sun Bowl, Liberty Bowl and Arizona Bowl are also on tap.

How to watch, live stream college football bowl games

The New Year's Eve slate features games televised live on national TV, with three appearing on ESPN and one on CBS. An additional contest will be shown on CBS Sports Network.

Two ranked teams will be in play. No. 23 Navy takes on Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl, and No. 11 Utah clashes with Texas in the Alamo Bowl.

Roy Philpott, Kelly Stouffer, Lauren Sisler will call the Liberty Bowl for ESPN as the Midshipmen push for an 11-win season. Dave Flemming, Louis Riddick and Paul Carcaterra will be on the ESPN broadcast for the Alamo Bowl between the Utes and Longhorns.

The Sun Bowl, meanwhile, will be announced by the CBS booth duo of Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson, with Jamie Erdahl reporting from the field.
