Week 11 was a curious slate of games for college football's AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll voters.
Several top 25 teams were out of commission over the weekend due to COVID-19 issues, either on their team or their opponents'. That includes No. 1 Alabama (LSU), No. 3 Ohio State (Maryland), No. 5 Texas A&M (Tennessee), No. 12 Georgia (Missouri), No. 15 Coastal Carolina (Troy) and No. 24 Auburn (Mississippi State). No. 4 Clemson was also off due to a previously scheduled bye.
That said, there were plenty of telling games from among college football's top teams: No. 6 Florida whipped Arkansas 63-35, setting the Gators up as the favorite to win the SEC East. No. 2 Notre Dame got an early test from Boston College, but managed to avoid the ghost of 1993 for a 45-31 win. No. 9 Miami kept its hopes for a New Year's Day 6 bid alive with a 25-24 win over Virginia Tech, and No. 10 Indiana set itself up for an unbelievable opportunity next week by blanking Michigan State 24-0.
Elsewhere, No. 7 Cincinnati continued its run of dominance against ECU, demolishing the Pirates 55-17. No. 13 Wisconsin showed no signs of rust after a two-week layoff, whipping Michigan 49-11 to drop Jim Harbaugh to 1-3 on the season. And No. 11 Oregon and No. 20 USC both managed to stay unbeaten and keep their slim College Football Playoff hopes alive.

It certainly wasn't a complete week of college football, but we still saw enough to get a decent look at the national landscape as we enter the final week of competition before the first CFP polls are released.
