College football rankings: Michigan, Oklahoma take big falls after upset losses image

Michigan and Oklahoma are the main casualties of an upset-filled Week 6 in college football. The Wolverines and Sooners dropped drastically in the rankings after losses to Michigan State and Iowa State, respectively. As a result, the newest college football rankings feature a new-look top 10.

The Sooners dropped from No. 3 to No. 12 in both polls. Michigan dropped to No. 17 in the AP Poll and No. 16 in the Coaches Poll.

In the AP Poll, Washington State entered the top 10 as it stayed undefeated with a win over Oregon. TCU shot up to No. 6 after a win over Big 12 rival West Virginia.

Previously unranked teams entering the rankings this week include Michigan State, Central Florida, Stanford, Texas Tech and undefeated Navy. Louisville, Florida and West Virginia dropped out of both polls after suffering upset losses this weekend. Lousville lost to NC State on Thursday and Florida lost at home to a previously-struggling LSU team.
