Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma lead college football consensus All-Americans image

The NCAA released its 2017 Consensus All-American team on Thursday, and Oklahoma led the way with three selections.

Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Baker Mayfield was a unanimous All-American, and was joined by offensive lineman Orlando Brown and tight end Mark Andrews. Alabama's Minkah Fitzpatrick and Washington State's Cody O'Connell made the consensus team for the second straight year.

Sporting News is one of five outlets that determine consensus All-Americans, along with the Walter Camp Football Foundation, The Associated Press, the Football Writers Association of America and the American Football Coaches Association. Sporting News has been part of that panel since 1959.
