With its win over North Carolina in the ACC championship game, No. 7 Clemson has assured itself a berth in the New Year's Day 6 bowl game for the 10th time under coach Dabo Swinney.

It certainly wasn't the season the Tigers hoped for, especially considering they missed the College Football Playoff for the second time in as many seasons and just the third time of the Playoff era. But Clemson can end the season on a strong note, especially with the Tigers finally looking as if they'll start backup quarterback Cade Klubnik over the struggling DJ Uiagalelei.

The national championship might not be in play, but Swinney knows better than most the good that can come from winning the final game of the season — especially one as prestigious as a New Year's Day 6 bowl.
