Caleb Williams may have won college football's most prestigious individual honor on Saturday, but he knows full well that he didn't win it by himself.
Indeed, the USC quarterback made sure to show love to the positional group that had arguably the greatest impact on his individual success this season: his offensive line.

Williams invited eight members of the group to join him in New York for the Heisman Trophy ceremony, where he became the eighth Trojan to win the award and the third USC quarterback.

Williams reportedly was so adamant that his linemen join with him that he said he "wasn't going to show up" unless his teammates could be with him.
#USC QB Caleb Williams continued: "I wanted them to be here, just bc this is a special moment for me. And it's a special moment for them. I wanted to make sure that this moment that they could be here and see it all go down, how it all goes down."

Williams also gave a special shoutout to the group in his acceptance speech:
"Stand up, you guys, wherever you are," Williams said. "Who (sic) are all here to celebrate our accomplishment. This doesn't happen without each one of you: Bobby (Haskins), Courtland (Ford), (Andrew) Vorhees, Gino (Quinones), Brett (Neilon), (Justin Dedich), Jonah (Monheim), Mason (Murphy). Thank you. Thank you."

Williams certainly was deserving of the Heisman Trophy after completing 66 percent of his passes for 4,075 yards and 37 touchdowns to just four interceptions. He also had 372 yards and 10 more scores on the ground.
But he also understands perhaps the best thing a quarterback can know: Keep your offensive line happy. In that sense, Williams delivered another Heisman-caliber performance on Saturday night.
