Two Ohio State players reportedly confronted Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield this week at the Senior Bowl over his controversial flag plant at Ohio Stadium. The three wound up having a good laugh about it.

SI.com reported that defensive linemen Jalyn Holmes and Tyquan Lewis cornered Mayfield as the North players were riding a bus to practice. The supposed exchange:

Disrespected Buckeyes player: “What’s wrong with you, bro?”

Long pause ... LAUGHTER!

Mayfield: “That’s what you get for kicking my ass the year before!” Ohio State topped Oklahoma 45-24 in Norman in 2016. Mayfield got revenge in 2017 by leading the Sooners past the Buckeyes 31-16.

Mayfield apologized for the flag plant almost as soon as he did it, although SI.com reported Holmes and Lewis likely would have done the same thing at OU's Owen Field if they'd had the chance.

Mayfield, Holmes and Lewis will be teammates on Saturday in Mobile, Ala. (2:30 p.m. ET, NFL Network). They've already bonded, it appears.
