Auburn will pay the price for partying on the field.
Tigers fans stormed the gridiron after their thrilling 48-45 Iron Bowl win over rival Alabama on Saturday, subsequently lightening the wallet of the university. The SEC announced on Monday that Auburn would be levied a $250,000 fine for the fans storming the field.

This is the fourth time that Auburn University has been fined for storming the field (or court). The prior three offenses: the "Kick-Six" game in 2013, the men's basketball upset of Kentucky in 2016 and the 2017 Iron Bowl.
The win effectively ended any hope of Alabama's chance at the College Football Playoff. The Tigers end their regular season at 9-3.
