Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses, a Preseason Sporting News All-American, suffered a torn ACL and is expected to miss the 2019 season, according to AL.com.

Moses led Alabama with 86 tackles last season and added 10 tackles for loss. He was among the biggest returning pieces from last year's team that reached the College Football Playoff championship game.

Alabama's linebacker depth will be tested again. Joshua McMillan (knee) also is out indefinitely after suffering a preseason injury. Freshman linebackers Christian Harris and Shane Lee will see more time as a result.

Moses' injury is the latest blow for the Crimson Tide heading into Saturday's opener against Duke. On Tuesday, it was announced running backs Najee Harris and Brian Robinson, linebacker Terrell Lewis and receiver DeVonta Smith will be suspended for the first half of the game against the Blue Devils.
