Videos show Alabama receiver Jermaine Burton hit female Tennessee fan in head, confronted another after Volunteers win image

Two separate videos taken during the aftermath of the Alabama-Tennessee game on Saturday appear to show Crimson Tide receiver Jermaine Burton striking one Tennessee fan in the head and confronting another.

One video shows Burton confronting a Tennessee fan who briefly crosses his path in the Volunteers' checkered end zone. Footage of the incident originates from TikTok user Emily Isaacs, who claims to be the woman in the video. The video shows Burton striking the fan in her head as he continues toward the locker room.

The video is captioned, "Jermaine Burton smacking me in the head while walking past him after their loss Saturday," followed by a thumbs up emoji.

Another video shows Burton briefly confronting a Tennessee fan along the sideline as the former made his way onto the field. It appears to show Burton do something to the fan offscreen:

It's not certain which of the confrontations occurred first. Both happened after the Volunteers upset the Crimson Tide 52-49 on a last-second 40-yard field goal for the team's first win in the series since 2006.

Alabama coach Nick Saban released a statement on Wednesday, acknowledging the video while saying the university was gathering more information. Via Aaron Suttles of The Athletic:

No punishment has been leveled against Burton at the time of the publishing of this article and it is unknown if he will face any legal ramifications.

Burton finished the game with two receptions for 49 yards.
