While Texas football was busy beating the Tide on Saturday, Alabama fans were hatefully expressing their anger.
A now-viral video (which contains offensive language) shows multiple Black Texas players as the targets of homophobic slurs and racist comments.
One Alabama fan, who isn't shown on camera, can be heard above the noise in Bryant-Denny Stadium yelling, "You guys are all f–. Go back to the projects." X’Avion Brice, Jelani McDonald and B.J. Allen Jr. responded by dancing in celebration, mimicking former wide receiver John Metchie III's crane pose.
It's unclear how long the abusive remarks lasted, but it can be assumed they began before and continued after what the video shows.

Alabama statement on fans' behavior vs. Texas
The University of Alabama issued a statement in response, condemning the behavior from its fans and stating its disgust with the language used. While no individuals have been identified or punished, the school states those involved will be banned from Alabama events.

Parents of Texas players speak out about racist incident
Some parents of Texas players took to social media to express their own experiences at Saturday's game.
Agnie Wisner, mother of Longhorns freshman Quintrevion Wisner, stated on X that parents were spit on and hit with beer cans and water bottles. April Finkley was bombarded with "traitor." Her son Justice Finkley graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School outside of Birmingham.
Brice's father, Stuart, did not share any negative experiences but instead praised his son's self-control while the remarks were being yelled.
