When is women's Selection Sunday 2023?

The NCAA women's basketball tournament selection show will air on Sunday, March 12 at 8 p.m. ET, following the men's. At that point, the full 68-team field will be revealed, including the 32 automatic qualifiers and the 36 at-large bids.

NCAA Women's Tournament 2023 selection format
The 2023 NCAA Women's Tournament will feature 68 teams. The field is made up of the 32 conference champions and 36 at-large bids extended by the committee.
The four lowest-seeded automatic and at-large bids will compete in the First Four games, allowing them a chance to snatch the golden ticket into the proper 64-team field. The at-larges are fighting for two 11 seeds and the automatics are fighting for two 16 seeds.

NCAA Women's Tournament schedule 2023
The 2023 NCAA Women's Tournament will begin on Wednesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 16 with the First Four competition. This will light the spark for six days of back-to-back women's college basketball action.
The first round commences on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18 with the second round following closesly on Sunday, March 19 and Monday, March 20.
Because the first three rounds will be held at the 16 home arenas of the top four seeds, there will be four days to travel and get settled for the two regional events. The Sweet 16 and Elite 8 will be held in Seattle and Greenville, South Carolina from March 24-27.
The remaining teams will have four days off before they take each other on in the Final Four on Friday, March 31.
The 2023 NCAA Women's Tournament concludes with the national championship game on Sunday, April 2.

The 2023 NCAA Tournament begins with the First Four games, which will take place over the course of two days: on Wednesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 16.

When is the Women's Final Four?
The 2023 NCAA Tournament ends with the Final Four and a championship game, which will also take place over the course of two-days.
The Final Four round will be played out on Friday, March 31 with games at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET and the fight for the national title will be on Sunday, April 2.
