Paige Bueckers NIL deals, explained: How much money UConn star makes from Nike, other sponsors in 2024 image

There are few collegiate athletes with more cultural standing than UConn star Paige Bueckers.

The redshirt junior has captivated scores of onlookers during her time with the Huskies. In the process, she's fortified Connecticut's status as a perennial national championship contender while picking up some individual hardware for herself.

Bueckers is more than meets the eye on the floor, though. She's one of many athletes to come of age in the social media era, a time when youngsters have been able to cultivate celebrity-like followings before even touching a college campus.

Bueckers was no exception. Now, she's reaping the rewards she so meticulously sowed — a sizable name, image and likeness (NIL) check.

Here's what you need to know about Bueckers' financial might in the gleaming kingdom of NIL.

Paige Bueckers NIL money

Bueckers has a laundry list of companies bursting at the seams to get her to promote their brand. As such, she's made a small fortune from her various endorsements.

The value of Bueckers' known business ventures are a bit unclear, but it stands to be in six- to seven-figure territory, in all likelihood. Per On3's NIL tracker, she entered the 2023-24 campaign with the fourth-highest NIL valuation among women's basketball players ($643,000), only eclipsed by LSU's Angel Reese and Flau'jae Johnson and Iowa's Caitlin Clark.

Here's a closer look at the various business holdings that Bueckers has established over the course of her tenure in Storrs.

Paige Bueckers NIL deals

Bueckers has agreed to more than a dozen NIL deals since making her debut back in 2020. Here are some of the more prominent brands she has partnered with over the years.

Nike

Bueckers signed a multi-year deal with Nike, UConn's official outfitter, last September. It's a deal that saw her team up with one of sports apparel's biggest names. It also meant that Bueckers was joining the likes of Clark and idol Kobe Bryant as athletes to don the famous swoosh.

"I am blessed and honored to announce my partnership with Nike," Bueckers said in a statement. "Joining the Nike family is a childhood dream come true. I can't wait to see what we accomplish together on and off the court."

As part of her agreement with Nike, Bueckers modeled the corporation's GT Hustle 2 Shoe. Her deal could potentially stretch into her professional career, per ESPN's Michael Voepel.

Dunkin'

Bueckers joined North Carolina's Armando Bacot, South Carolina's Raven Johnson and 14 other athletes across six different sports to ink a partnership with Dunkin'.

Few athletes on the deal boasted the social media clout of Bueckers. Her agreement also made a few bucks for a good cause: Dunkin' donated $25,000 to UConn's Husky Harvest food pantries, an organization that desires an end to food insecurity.

As part of the initiative, Bueckers had to take part in a series of scheduled social media posts. She handled such a proposition with aplomb, offering up her presence to a local Connecticut high school

Leaf Trading Cards

Last October, Bueckers agreed to a deal with Leaf Trading Cards, joining the likes of Caleb Williams, Jordan Travis and Trey Benson as collegiate stars to ink a contract with the company.

As part of the deal, Leaf agreed to craft Bueckers an exclusive trading card.

GoArmy

Bueckers has proven to be a standard-bearer for NIL deals past and present. Last year, she added to her collection by inking a deal with GoArmy, the recruiting arm of the U.S. Army.

Bueckers spent some time training at Fort Knox prior to her agreement.

Chegg

College students across the country have used Chegg — an educational platform — for less than savory means. Bueckers is not one of them, however, partnering with the company last April.

As part of Chegg and Bueckers' campaign, the company agreed to open up a grocery store at Bueckers' old middle school in Minnetonka, Minnesota in an effort to combat food insecurity.

Nerf

Bueckers and teammate Azzi Fudd inked dueling deals with Nerf in 2022. In fact, the duo unleashed their inner child during an ad campaign for the toy manufacturer, clashing with one another for the title of most dominant (foam-shooting) gunslinger. In the end, it was Fudd who took home the title.

Bose

Bueckers and Fudd teamed up once more via NIL portal, linking with Bose to promote two different lines of wireless headphones.

The deal, initially inked in 2022, represented Bueckers' first since tearing her ACL before the 2022-23 season.

“I am excited to officially join the Bose family,” Bueckers wrote on Instagram at the time. “You already know the soundtrack to my comeback is going to be epic and louder than ever thanks to Bose. I’ve got my QCE II earbuds in and we are locked in.”

Interestingly enough, Connecticut allowed Bose to use the program's official licensing and facilities for their promotional content, a fairly unprecedented move at the time, even among NIL partnerships.

Crocs

Crocs and Bueckers agreed to partner with one another back in 2022. Bueckers was named an official Crocs ambassador as part of the deal.

Gatorade

Bueckers made history with her Gatorade deal, becoming the first collegiate athlete in the NIL era to ink a deal with the drink manufacturer in 2021. Bueckers was named the Gatorade Player of the Year during her final year of high school, so the partnership didn't come completely out of left field.

Nevertheless, Bueckers proved to be a trailblazer for the firm, which has since added Penn State running back Nick Singleton and Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders to its payroll.

StockX

Bueckers' first NIL deal was perhaps her most special, with the UConn guard and reselling conglomerate StockX agreeing to terms with one another back in 2021. As part of the deal, Bueckers was able to gift her Huskies teammates with some exclusive drip.

Paige Bueckers net worth

On3's valuation of the sum of Bueckers' NIL deals is shrouded in a bit of mystery, with the specific terms unclear. However, given the fact that she entered the season making about $643,000, per On3, it seems Bueckers is likely making between six- and seven- figures.
