It's not often fans witness a basket-brawl, but it happened Wednesday at the SEC women's tournament.
Nine players were ejected after a fight broke out in the second quarter of the opening-round game between No. 14 Kentucky and No. 11 Florida.
Based on video, the fight started following a Wildcats layup with 5:26 left in the quarter when Kentucky's Ajae Petty pushed the ball into Florida player Tatyana Wyche's face. Wyche then fired the ball at the back of Petty's head. She missed, but both benches cleared and the game was delayed for more than 20 minutes.
