There is a new top dog in the college basketball NIL world, and it's a Washington Husky.
Great Osobor, a transfer out of Utah State considered the top available player in the portal, has officially committed to Washington, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony. The defending Mountain West Conference Player of the Year reportedly chose Washington over Louisville and Texas Tech, joining Danny Sprinkle's program in Seattle.
"I would like to thank God for putting me in this position," Osobor said. "Washington will allow me to maximize my potential as a player in my final year of college basketball. Coach Sprinkle has been with me every step of the way since I came from England, and I cannot wait to help the Huskies get back to the NCAA tournament."
A 6-8 big man out of England, Osobor has one year of NCAA eligibility left, but it's not necessarily his play on the court that is grabbing headlines at the moment. It's the amount of money he is set to make profiting off his name, image and likeness at Washington.

Great Osobor NIL deals
It's unclear at the moment what companies have offered NIL deals to Osobor. However, the total amount of money he is set to make is staggering.
The newest member of the Huskies reportedly has NIL agreement worth $2 million, according to ESPN. It give him the highest-known valuation in NIL deals in college basketball this season.
The deals were negotiated by agent George Langberg of GSL Sports, and include marketing assurances.
"It's a blessing to be put in the position I am in now, and I look forward to using my platform to proudly represent my family and be a role model to my two younger sisters," Osobor said.
The money Osobor is set to make is considered "life-altering." A native of Bradford, England, his father is a taxi driver and mother is a caregiver for elderly clients.
"I was not a highly recruited player coming out of England, with only a few Division I offers," Osobor said. "Assistant coach Chris Haslam had a huge part in recruiting me to Montana State, and I owe him a lot for that. I am more motivated than ever to show young kids that it doesn't matter where you come from. If you put in the work and necessary sacrifice, your time will come."
