The Duke and North Carolina women’s basketball teams are heading into their regular-season finale, and it’s only fitting that the historic in-state rivals close out the shuffle against each other.

Duke (24-4, 14-3 ACC) is coming into the matchup ranked No. 11, having defeated North Carolina State 77-62 on Thursday. The Blue Devils' senior duo of Celeste Taylor and Elizabeth Balogun carried the convincing victory on their backs, Taylor notching a second 20-plus-point outing and Balogun a third double-double performance this year.

The Blue Devils are undefeated at home this season, not a good sign for the Tar Heels making the short trip up the road with hopes to squash their three-game losing streak.

UNC (19-10, 10-7 ACC) fell in bitter disappointment to No. 9 Virginia Tech on Thursday night when senior Elizabeth Kitley hit the go-ahead jumper at the final buzzer to push the Hokies to a 61-59 escape.
