Parents of athletes can be infamous for complaining to officials at their kids' games.
Brent Clark appeared to be the exact opposite on Saturday.
The father of Iowa star Caitlin Clark appeared to tell his daughter to quit complaining to officials during No. 1 Iowa's Round 1 game against No. 16 Holy Cross. Caitlin Clark seemed to plead her case with her dad as he asked her to knock it off.

That wasn't Brent Clark's only "dad moment" of the game.
In the first half, Caitlin Clark was struggling to the tune of 2-for-8 shooting from the field. Her 13 points came on the strength of 11-of-12 shooting from the free-throw line. She also had six turnovers in the half.
Before the end of the half, Brent Clark appeared to call on his daughter to be benched.

Caitlin Clark turned it up a notch in the second half, going 6-for-11 from the field with 14 points. She also had three rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals. She finished the game two rebounds shy of a triple-double with 27 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.

Caitlin Clark's parents are Brent Clark and Anne Nizzi-Clark.
Brent Clark has been an active presence at her games, often seen in the stands watching the sensational talent play. During his college days, he was a Division III basketball and baseball player for Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. He is currently an executive vice president at Concentric International.
Nizzi-Clark used to be the vice president of product marketing at American Enterprise Group, Inc. She currently works with her daughter to set up NIL partnerships. She is the daughter of former Dowling Catholic coach, counselor and administrator Bob Nizzi. All Clark children attended Dowling Catholic.
