The 2019 Big East Tournament will be held March 13-16 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

This conference has always been known as one of the more competitive tournaments in college basketball and this year is no different, with No. 16 Marquette and No. 23 Villanova both earning spots in the latest AP Top 25.

Villanova, the 2018 NCAA Tournament winner, will look to take home the Big East Title for the third year in a row, an impressive feat considering its considerable loss of talent to last year's NBA Draft. Seniors Phil Booth and Eric Paschall have a lot to do with the Wildcats' success this season.

Marquette, meanwhile, features junior guard Markus Howard, one of the most prolific scorers in the country. St. John's can't be overlooked either, despite a subpar conference: They've gone 2-0 against the Golden Eagles and have split against Villanova. St. John's likely needs to claim the tournament in order to make the NCAA Tournament, making it one of the most dangerous teams this season.

Here's the full schedule for the 2019 Big East men's basketball tournament (all times eastern).
