The Toronto Raptors are taking to the road ahead of the 2018-19 NBA season.

After a busy summer in which longtime coach Dwane Casey and franchise player DeMar DeRozan parted ways with the club, the Raptors will bring their focus back to the basketball court with a five-game preseason schedule. And while it's been an offseason of change for the team, new head coach Nick Nurse will put his players through their paces in familiar surroundings as the Raptors will host a training camp in British Columbia for the fifth straight year.

Toronto will spend three days in training camp before opening its preseason schedule with a game against the Portland Trail Blazers in Vancouver on Sept. 29. The contest is one of three preseason games the team will hold in Canada, with exhibitions against Australian club Melbourne United (Toronto, Oct. 5) and the Brooklyn Nets (Montreal, Oct. 10).

The Raptors will also play games in Salt Lake City and New Orleans as they prepare for the franchise's 24th season.
