There's no secret that NBA players are the best of the best. And among the 500-plus players on NBA rosters are the tallest of the tall.
With dozens of players that measure at or above 7 feet, the NBA features some of the tallest people in the world. Among those players are a few league MVPs in Giannis Antetokounmpo (7-0) and Joel Embiid (7-0), while reigning Finals MVP Nikola Jokic falls just shy at 6-foot-11.
In addition to the league mainstays, a few newcomers have joined the list, including 7-foot-1 lottery pick Dereck Lively II and Spurs rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama, who has measured anywhere between 7-foot-3 and 7-foot-5 during the pre-draft process.

Boban Marjanovic and Victor Wembanyama are the NBA's tallest players at 7-foot-4.
The 19-year-old rookie immediately earns a share of the title during his first year in the league. He shares the distinction with an eight-year veteran in Marjanovic.
After Marjanovic and Wembanyama, 7-foot-3 Celtics forward Kristaps Porzings sits alone in second place, while third place is held by a group of four players that measure 7-foot-2.

Tallest players in NBA history
Manute Bol and Gheorge Muresan are tied as the tallest players ever to grace an NBA floor. Each player measured at 7-foot-7. The late Manute Bol is the father of Phoenix's Bol Bol, who, at 7-foot-2, measures in as the NBA's third-tallest player in the 2023-24 season.
Basketball-Reference, which lists Marjanovic as 7-foot-3, says just 13 players measuring 7-foot-4 or taller have played in an NBA game. Based on their measurements, Wembanyama will become the 14th when he makes his NBA debut.
