It was the first ejection of his career as a coach and just the third of his NBA career.

Late in the third quarter, Nash appeared to be upset at a no-call on Giannis Antetokounmpo, who used his left arm to create separation against Patty Mills, which sent the Australian to the floor.

Nash picked up a technical foul after confronting the official after no foul was called and shortly after he was tossed from the game, picking up a second technical after continuing to let the officials know about it.

Despite being held back by two officials and Nets guard Royce O'Neale, Nash

At the time of his ejection, the Nets led 70-66, but the Bucks seized control of the game from there, outscoring the Nets 35-21 in the third quarter to take a two-point lead into the final frame.

Nash usually keeps a cool demeanor on the sidelines, as he did during his playing days. In 1,337 career games across 18 seasons, Nash had only been ejected twice.
