Dallas Mavericks guard Spencer Dinwiddie's night was cut short against the Golden State Warriors after he was ejected from the game early in the fourth quarter.
With Dallas leading 94-91 just over a minute into the fourth quarter, Dinwiddie attempted to get past Jordan Poole and drive into the lane, catching the Warriors guard in the face with an elbow on his way through.

The elbow did not appear to be intentional and as Dinwiddie was tossed from the game, he dapped up Poole on his way out, laughing to himself as he walked to the locker room, in disbelief at the call.

He exited the game with 14 points, two assists, and two steals on 5-of-12 shooting in 23 minutes on court.
The ejection didn't end up proving costly for the Mavs as they held on for a nail-biting 116-113 win, with Klay Thompson missing a potential game-tying triple at the buzzer.
The victory over the Warriors ends the Mavericks' four-game losing streak and brings them to .500 on the season at 10-10.
