Some first-grade students in Georgia met a new classmate this week: NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.
Schools all over the country have shifted to online classes in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus. Students are in insolation, so O'Neal popped in for a virtual lesson with students at East Lake Elementary in McDonough, Ga.
A video from TMZ shows the basketball star saying hi to the teacher, who nonchalantly says hello back. Then she realizes who the greeting came from, excitedly asking, "Is that Shaq?"

The six- and seven-year-olds seemed happy to have the Hall of Famer stop by during these unusual times, but some of the most hilarious reactions came from the parents and adults who were around. The kids smiled, and the adults' jaws dropped as they grabbed their phones to take pictures.
O'Neal is family friends with one of the students in the class, according to TMZ. The Big Diesel stayed on to chat for a few minutes, which certainly brightened up the day during a less-than-ideal situation.
Now these first graders have a great story to tell about their 7-1 momentary classmate. Good work, Shaq.
