The 26th Rising Stars' rosters were announced on Friday.
A record four Canadians headline the list of first-year and second-year international players selected to the game.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander , Oklahoma City Thunder (Toronto, ON), Brandon Clarke , Memphis Grizzlies (Vancouver, BC), RJ Barrett , New York Knicks (Toronto, ON) and Nickeil Alexander-Walker , New Orleans Pelicans (Scarborough, ON) will represent Canada in the game.

The World Team also features Luka Doncic and Deandre Ayton .
Team USA is headline by Ja Morant and Trae Young who have been enjoying great seasons in the backcourt for their respective teams. Rookie standout Zion Williamson was also selected to the squad despite playing just four games as an injury replacement for Bulls' center Wendell Carter Jr.
The 26th Rising Stars will see 10 first and second-year players from the U.S. take on 10 first and second-year international players in the league’s showcase of young talent during NBA All-Star in Chicago on Friday, February 14th. The game will be available live in Canada on Sportsnet and Sportsnet ONE at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Eight-time NBA All-Star and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member, Steve Nash, was the first Canadian to participate in NBA Rising Stars, at the 1997 NBA All-Star in Cleveland.
Two Canadians have previously won NBA Rising Stars Most Valuable Player Award:
2017 - Jamal Murray, Denver Nuggets (World Team 150, U.S. Team 141)
2015 - Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves (World Team 121, U.S. Team 112)
A record four Canadians on the World Team beats the previous record (3), also held by Canada at 2016 NBA All-Star in Toronto which featured:
- Trey Lyles, Utah Jazz
- Dwight Powell, Dallas Mavericks
- Andrew Wiggins, Minnesota Timberwolves

About NBA All-Star 2020
NBA All-Star 2020 in Chicago will bring together the most talented and passionate players in the league’s history for a global celebration of the game. The 69th NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the United Center, will reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages. TNT will televise the All-Star Game for the 18th consecutive year, marking Turner Sports’ 35th year of NBA All-Star coverage. United Center will also host Rising Stars on Friday, Feb. 14 and State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on Saturday, Feb. 15. The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game presented by Ruffles on Feb. 14 and the NBA All-Star Practice & Media Day presented by AT&T on Feb. 15 will take place at Wintrust Arena.
