Pascal Siakam has monster second half, leads Toronto Raptors to big comeback win in Atlanta image

Pascal Siakam had a relatively low-key week prior to Saturday, averaging 17.7 points per game as the Toronto Raptors went 2-1 in games against Orlando, Charlotte and Dallas, respectively.

Last year, those numbers would've been notable for the Cameroonian forward, but with a 25.1 PPG average so far this season, it's become clear that Siakam has taken a leap into the NBA elite.

On Saturday, Siakam reinforced the notion that he is Toronto's first-choice scorer as he exploded for 34 points in a 119-116 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

The 25-year-old went off for 22 points in the second half as the Raptors overcame a deficit that swelled to 10 points as late as the third quarter. Siakam was efficient all night long, with 11-for-18 shooting in just over 40 minutes on the court.

He was also 8-of-9 from the free throw line and hit four 3-pointers on six attempts.

The Raptors improved to 11-4 with the win, their third in a row.
