In case you forgot, Nikola Jokic is a back-to-back MVP winner and Sunday night he reminded everyone that a third-consecutive trophy is well within his sights.

Jokic joined Wilt Chamberlain in the record books, producing a historic triple-double, posting 40 points, a career-high 27 rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 119-115 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

He is the first player to record 40+ PTS, 25+ REB, and 10+ AST in a game since Wilt Chamberlain did it in 1968, bringing his career triple-doubles to 81.

"I knew he had a lot of rebounds, but I haven't seen that number very often," Nuggets head coach Mike Malone said postgame of Jokic's big night on the glass.

"What he does is just amazing every night."
