This Week in the NBA: The Pascal Siakam trade, Joel Embiid's flopping, Rudy "Westbrick" Gobert and more image

It's Friday, which means another This Week in the NBA!

We're running down the best jokes, memes and moments that the league produced. As usual, there was plenty of material to work with.

Here are this week's best moments from NBA Twitter and more.

The best moments in the NBA this week

The Pacers trade for Pascal Siakam

The big news of the week was, of course, the Pascal Siakam trade to Indiana. There were plenty of reactions (including my trade grades), but this one took the cake:

A dog pees on the Suns court

The Suns hosted a puppy race on Tuesday, and a dog named Barkley ended up being the star of the show.

Barkley may have peed on the court, but at least it wasn't as bad as when a dog pooped on the Bucks logo six years ago.

The Suns have had some noteworthy fans in the last month. Barkley adds to the trio of Emma Stone and the guy who solved a Rubik's cube in 10 seconds

Somebody check on Pistons fans

The Pistons keep on losing at a prodigious rate, and it's doing some weird stuff to their fan base. Pistons Reddit is coming up with some wild ideas to save the team.

It's not a great plan, but it might have more of a chance of working out than trading for Mike Muscala and Danilo Gallinari.

Send out the National Guard for Joel Embiid

Embiid is having a great season, but the flopping is getting out of control.

Embiid has to stop falling so much. If he ever does get hurt, Philadelphia sports fans might not be able to handle it.

Never change, NBA Twitter

The thing I love about NBA Twitter is how it leans into being weird. You better believe that as soon as I saw this tweet, it was getting included in this column:

You can watch these two face off during the NBA's Rivalry Week next week on TNT. Try to watch without thinking of those haunting images.

Russell Westbrook loves watching someone else Westbrick

Westbrook does not take kindly to hecklers. He got into it with a fan before the Clippers faced off against the Timberwolves.

Even he couldn't help himself, though, while watching Rudy Gobert brick a pair at the line.

It's good to see Westbrook having some fun out there.

Mike Brown pulls out the receipts

Brown was heated after getting ejected from the Kings game on Sunday. He had to be held back from the referees by Malik Monk. With almost a full quarter to stew about the officiating, Brown prepared notes for his postgame press conference.

He was fined $50,000 for bringing out the props to the group presentation, which he said would force him to cancel his All-Star break vacation plans at The Ritz-Carlton in Lake Tahoe.

GG Jackson meets Shaq

Here's your heartwarming clip of the week.

Second-round pick GG Jackson was thrust into the Grizzlies' rotation for their game on TNT due to injuries ravaging their roster. He responded with a career-high 23 points in a win over the Warriors, earning him a postgame interview with one of his idols.

It's been a rough season for the Grizzlies. It was great to see them get a nice moment.

The crazy stat of the week

It can be tough to put into context how long LeBron James has been around. This is a mind-blowing way of showing what 21 seasons in the league looks like:

He's played against multiple father-and-son combinations at this point. Don't take these last few seasons of brilliance for granted.
