Well, that was something.

It took two overtime periods, but the Toronto Raptors defeated the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals by a final score of 118-112. The Bucks now lead 2-1 in the series.

Kawhi Leonard led the way once again for the Raptors, scoring a game-high 36 points to go along with nine rebounds, five assists and two steals. Pascal Siakam was Toronto's second-leading scorer with 25 points.

Toronto Raptors vs. Milwaukee Bucks

End of second overtime: Raptors 118, Bucks 112

- The Raptors hold on in double overtime. What a game.

- Pascal Siakam is making some big plays, too. This block on Brook Lopez prevented the Bucks from tying the game at 112 with less than a minute to play:

- Kawhi Leonard is doing everything he can to win this game — on both ends of the court.

- Kawhi Leonard somehow still has enough energy to do this:

Leonard is up to a game-high 30 points. He also has eight rebounds and five assists.

- The Raptors regain the lead on a 3-pointer from Marc Gasol. It's his fourth triple of the game.

- The Bucks score off of a turnover from Kawhi Leonard, giving them their first lead since 2-0.

- Giannis Antetokounmpo picks up his sixth foul of the game. He leaves with 12 points (5-16 FG), 23 rebounds, seven assists and four blocks.

End of first overtime: Raptors 103, Bucks 103

- The Raptors get a slightly better shot this time around, but the result is the same. Second overtime coming up.

- Here we go again. George Hill ties the game at 103 with a pair of free throws and the Raptors have the ball with 14.5 seconds to play in overtime. Can they get a better shot this time?

- Huge shot by Kawhi Leonard here to give the Raptors some breathing room:

- What a wild sequence. The Raptors catch a break with Giannis Antetokounmpo missing two free throws, but the Bucks get the offensive rebound and George Hill makes a 3-pointer over Marc Gasol to tie it at 99.

These Bucks sure are resilient.

- Danny Green's first make of the game puts the Raptors ahead 99-96 with 3:32 to go. He was 0-for-8 prior to this shot:

End of fourth quarter: Raptors 96, Bucks 96

- Overtime it is. Pascal Siakam misses a tough 3-pointer over Brook Lopez.

- And the Bucks get a basket. Danny Green blocks Khris Middleton's first attempt, but Middleton gets the offensive rebound and an easy putback to tie the game at 96.

The Raptors will have one more chance after the timeout with 2.2 seconds to play. If they miss, it's overtime.

- After a couple of wild shots from Fred VanVleet and Khris Middleton, Pascal Siakam had a chance to extend Toronto's lead to four points but missed a pair of free throws. The Bucks will have a chance to tie or take the lead with 7.1 seconds remaining in the game.

- Malcolm Brogdon scores a reverse layup over Kawhi Leonard after a missed 3-pointer from Fred VanVleet. Raptors lead 96-94 with 38 seconds to play. Huge possession coming up for the Raptors.

- Norman Powell fouls out with 1:09 to play. Danny Green replaces him with the Raptors leading 96-91.

- Fred VanVleet's first bucket of the game is a big one, but George Hill responds with a 3-pointer of his own to tie it at 91.

- George Hill ties the game at 88 with 4:11 to play. The Raptors haven't scored in almost three minutes.

- Kyle Lowry is done for the game. He fouls out with 6:12 remaining in the fourth quarter. Fred VanVleet replaces him.

It's been a struggle for VanVleet up until this point. He's scoreless and has three turnovers in 20 minutes of play.

There's also this:

- Giannis Antetokounmpo is starting to come alive for the Bucks. He's scored all five of Milwaukee's points since Kawhi Leonard's 3-pointer, cutting Toronto's lead to just three points.

- 3-pointers from Kyle Lowry and Kawhi Leonard extend Toronto's lead to eight points with 9:05 to play.

- According to the broadcast, there will be no update on Kawhi Leonard's health status as long as he's playing. He's been hobbling since early in the first quarter.

End of third quarter: Raptors 77, Bucks 75

- The Raptors led by as much as 10 points in the third quarter, but it's a two-point game going into the fourth. Turnovers were a problem for the Raptors, as was defensive rebounding. The Bucks scored 15 of their 24 points off of turnovers and second chance opportunities.

It speaks to Milwaukee's depth that they're still in this despite Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton combining for 13 points on 5-for-18 shooting.

- Uh oh. Norman Powell picked up his fifth foul of the game with 42.6 seconds remaining in the third quarter. He's been huge for the Raptors with 16 points off the bench.

- The Raptors would be in trouble if it weren't for Pascal Siakam and Norman Powell. They've combined to score 12 of the team's 17 points so far in the third quarter.

- Whenever the Raptors miss a shot or turn the ball over, the Bucks seem to have an answer. After Marc Gasol misses a turnaround in the post, Malcolm Brogdon makes a corner 3-pointer to cut Toronto's lead to three points.

- Marc Gasol has thrown some dimes this game, but this pass ... wasn't great:

- Nice move by Pascal Siakam to score over Giannis Antetokounmpo:

After a rough Game 2, in which he scored eight points and fouled out in 25 minutes, Siakam is Toronto's second-leading scorer with 14 points.

Halftime

Some notes at the half...

- Kawhi Leonard has been fantastic. Not only does he have 15 points, he's dished out a game-high five assists. Leonard had a combined four assists in Games 1 and 2 of this series.

- Norman Powell played 15 minutes in the first half compared to only 10 for Danny Green. Based on how Powell played, expect him to get more minutes than Green in the second half as well.

- The Raptors limited the Bucks to only two offensive rebounds in the first half and two second-chance points. That's a huge win for the Raptors.

- Where the Bucks have been able to hurt the Raptors? The 3-point line, where they're 10-for-21, and in transition, where they've scored 23 of their 58 points.

- Eric Bledsoe leads the Bucks with nine points, followed by Malcolm Brogdon with eight points.

End of second quarter: Raptors 58, Bucks 51

- The second quarter closes with three consecutive 3-pointers, two of which came from the Raptors.

- What a move by Kawhi Leonard!

- A layup by Pascal Siakam followed by a 3-pointer by Kyle Lowry puts the Raptors ahead 48-37, forcing Mike Budenholzer to take a timeout. The Raptors are starting to take advantage of the Bucks loading up on Kawhi Leonard when he gets the ball inside the 3-point line.

- Back-to-back baskets from Giannis Antetokounmpo in transition make it a one possession game with 6:45 remaining in the second quarter. Timeout Raptors.

- The Raptors are doing a good job of throwing different coverages at Giannis Antetokounmpo. He has three assists — all of which have set up 3-pointers — but he's missed four of his five shot attempts and committed four turnovers.

- 3-point shooting is keeping the Bucks in this one. They're 7-for-16 from the perimeter, 2-for-10 everywhere else.

This 3-pointers from Pat Connaughton cut Toronto's lead to five points:

End of first quarter: Raptors 30, Bucks 21

- A dominant first quarter by the Raptors. Marc Gasol got them going early with his scoring and passing, Norman Powell chipped in with 10 points off the bench and they were able to force the Bucks to commit six turnovers, turning them into 10 points.

The Raptors didn't do much of the latter in Game 2 — they scored only eight points off of seven Bucks turnovers.

- Another beautiful pass from Marc Gasol, this time to Norman Powell on a cut to the basket. He already has four assists.

- After a strong Game 2, Norman Powell is the first reserve off the bench for the Raptors. He's coming in for Danny Green.

- At the midpoint of the first quarter, the Raptors lead 18-7. Marc Gasol has scored or assisted on 12 of Toronto's points. He's been a different player to start this one.

- After draining a pair of 3s, Marc Gasol draws Brook Lopez out to the 3-point line with a pump fake, leading to a drive and kick to Pascal Siakam. This is why the Raptors can't afford for Gasol to turn down open shots.

- Make that two 3-pointers for Marc Gasol. He has six of Toronto's 11 points to start this game.

- An encouraging sign for the Raptors: Marc Gasol makes his first field goal attempt of the game — a 3-pointer set up by Kawhi Leonard.

- Giannis Antetokounmpo gets the Bucks on the board with a smooth spin move around Danny Green.

Pregame

The Raptors will start Kyle Lowry, Danny Green, Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol for Game 3.

Nick Nurse said there could be some lineup changes for the Raptors after the Bucks blew them out in Game 2, so it was either a fake out or he's planning to make some changes to his in-game rotations, likely by getting Norman Powell in earlier.

"I think you'll see more of [Powell] here and hopefully he can build on what he did in Game 2," Nurse said pregame.

The Bucks are sticking with their usual starters as well: Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Mirotic and Brook Lopez.
