Here are the four most-watched games from the regular season.

1) Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors (December 25)

The Christmas Day clash between the Lakers and Warriors was perhaps the most anticipated game of the entire season as it was the first meeting between James and the Warriors since the 2018 NBA Finals.

Despite pulling out the win in emphatic fashion, this game ultimately proved to be the beginning of the end for the Lakers season when LeBron James sustained a groin injury in the third quarter of this game. He would miss the next 17 games.

3) Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Lakers (October 20)

If there was any doubt about interest in LeBron James joining the Lakers, this should put to bed any and all doubts. This was his second game with the Lakers and home debut at Staples Center against the reigning MVP in James Harden.

Ultimately, the three-most viewed games from the regular season all featured the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James.

4) Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Golden State Warriors (October 16)

The season debut for the two-time defending champions. Kevin Durant vs Russell Westbrook.

In addition to the existing rivalry between the two teams, the history between OKC and Kevin Durant put forward a perfect scenario to open the season on October 16.

Stephen Curry's 32 points were enough to lead the Warriors to a 108-100 win over the Thunder in what was the fourth-most watched game of the year.
