The Indiana Pacers opened up free agency with two key acquisitions to their backcourt.
The Pacers have executed a sign-and-trade to bring in Malcolm Brogdon from divisional rivals the Milwaukee Bucks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Indiana will send a first-round and two future second-round picks to Milwaukee in exchange for Brogdon. Brogdon will sign a four-year, $85 million dollar deal with the Pacers.

The 2017 Rookie of the Year averaged 15.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, shooting 51% from the floor in 64 games for the Bucks last season.
The Pacers also added former Charlotte Hornets guard Jeremy Lamb to their backcourt on a three-year, $31 million dollar deal, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Lamb averaged a career-high 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, shooting 44% from the field in 79 games for the Hornets in 2018-19.
Both Brogdon and Lamb will join a backcourt which already features Victor Oladipo and T.J. Warren.
Oladipo suffered a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee in January, putting an end to his season. He's expected to miss the start of the 2019-20 season according to team president Kevin Pritchard.

Players can negotiate agreements with teams on June 30 but contracts can't be officially signed until the new league year begins on July 6.
