Milwaukee Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer takes home the 2018/19 NBA Coach of the Year Award.
In his first season in Milwaukee, Budenholzer guided the Bucks to the best record in the NBA with a 60-22 record, turning them into a championship contender. The Bucks were the best team throughout the regular season, finishing with the league's best defensive rating and net rating.
Budenholzer beat out Denver Nuggets coach Mike Malone and Los Angeles Clippers' Doc Rivers to win the award.
It's the second time Budenholzer has claimed the award, winning his first in 2015 with the Atlanta Hawks, making him just the sixth coach in NBA history to win the award twice and the third active coach to have multiple Coach of the Year honours, alongside Gregg Popovich (3) and Mike D'Antoni (2).
