The All-Star Weekend has come and gone with plenty of big time highlights giving basketball fans their fill of action.

NBA superstars, first and second year players and even celebrities put on a show for fans in attendance and watching on around the globe.

Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki competed in their final ever All-Star Game while Ben Simmons made Australian history as the first ever Aussie to take part.

If you missed any of the action from over the weekend, we've got you covered with some of the biggest and best moments that took place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge

Not normally the place you'd find incredible highlights, but with a 4-point line and Ray Allen in the game, there was always going to be some deep treys landing.

Allen did hit four from long range, but it was Famous Los who hit the biggest shot of the game when he buried the 4-pointer plus the foul for the five-point play!

The Rising Stars game saw Team USA edge out Team World with Kyle Kuzma, Jayson Tatum and Trae Young dominating the game against Ben Simmons' best efforts.

Defence was optional throughout the contest with John Collins and Josh Okogie flying high above the rim for the ultimate highlights out of the clash.

All-Star Saturday Night

It's the NBA's night of nights with three big competitions taking place, and this year's edition didn't disappoint.

The night got underway with the skills challenge and Trae Young burst away to a big lead in the final, but Jayson Tatum spoiled his party by knocking down his final shot from beyond half court.

Joe Harris set the bar in the 3-Point Contest and despite a hot start in the championship round from Stephen Curry, the Brooklyn Nets guard held on for the win.

But once again it was the dunk contest that stole the show. Despite some dunks not going according to plan, Hamidou Diallo sent social media wild with this insane honey dip dunk over Shaq.

Just look at it:

All-Star Game

The big game provided plenty of big moments with Team Giannis running out to an early lead before Team LeBron came storming back to steal the victory.

Kevin Durant claimed the MVP with 31 points, toppling the efforts of Giannis Antetokounmpo who finished with a game-high 38 points.

Dirk Nowitzki wound back the clock by knocking down three 3s, Paul George wowed the crowd with a 360 jam and Dame Time struck in the third term.

But it was this incredible connection from Stephen Curry to set up Antetokounmpo for the high-flying alley-oop finish that was perhaps the most memorable moment from the game:
