Defensive Player of the Year isn't the only award that honors the NBA's best defenders.

Since the 1968-69 season, the NBA has recognized the 10 best defenders in the league with the All-Defensive Teams. Unlike All-NBA, which is made up of three teams, All-Defensive features only a First and Second Team, making it an incredibly difficult list to crack.

Which players earned the honor of being named All-Defense this season? Here is the complete list of teams.

How All-Defensive Teams are selected

Each NBA end-of-season award is voted on by a global panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters.

For All-Defense, each voter chooses two guards, two forwards and one center for the First and Second Teams. Players receive two points for First Team votes and one point for Second Team votes.

If a player receives votes at multiple positions, they are placed at the position they received the most votes.

Who has the most All-Defensive Team selections?

Tim Duncan has the most All-Defensive Team selections in NBA history despite having never been named Defensive Player of the Year. He's one of six players who have earned at least 10 All-Defensive selections.

Chris Paul has the most All-Defensive Team selections among active players with nine.
