Drinks on the links just got a bit easier.
Michael Jordan — famed for his sneaker brand — has spent just a little bit of time on a golf course or two. So who knows better than he how to improve the golf experience?
Jordan's Florida course, The Grove XXIII, has offered a glimpse into golf's future: The course features drones that drop off food and drinks to players while on the course, cutting out the need to have to stop in the clubhouse to grab a snack.

The Grove XXIII, located in Hobe Sound, Fla., is an uber-exclusive membership deal, with fewer than 100 members in total. Membership is by invite only, as well. Some notable folks who have played at the course: NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin, Rickie Fowler and Phil Mickelson. Mickelson, a member of the club, reportedly doesn't live too far from the course, either.
The course opened in 2019, three years after Jordan purchased the land and had it constructed. It's modeled after famed golf course Shinnecock Hills in Long Island, N.Y.
While most grab their refreshments at the turn, or send cart attendants to grab an order, maybe Jordan's idea to expedite the process isn't a bad one. You have to stay hydrated, after all.
