After claiming gold in Tokyo, Team USA have maintained their spot at the top of the men's World Rankings, with the latest update dropping earlier today.
Despite winning Bronze, the first Olympic medal for the men's program, Australia have remained in third place behind Spain who missed out on a podium finish.
The biggest climber in the rankings was Slovenia, who launched twelve spots to fourth to mirror their position in the Olympic tournament led by Luka Doncic.
According to FIBA, Slovenia's ability to beat higher ranked teams at the Olympics and Qualifying tournaments helped their cause, with those results awarding higher point totals. In Tokyo, Slovenia beat the previously fourth ranked Argentina followed by Spain on their way to the bronze medal game.
