How long is Luka Doncic out? Heel injury timeline, return date, latest updates on Mavericks star image

Mavericks guard Luka Doncic exited the team's game against the Pelicans on Feb. 2 with a right heel injury.

The injury came just a week after he suffered a right ankle sprain, which forced him to miss one game, but it did not appear to slow him down. He dropped 53 points on the Pistons in his return to action.

With the Mavericks in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race, they can't afford to be without their leading man for long.

Here's what we know about Doncic's injury and his status with the Mavericks moving forward.
