The Toronto Raptors will be without their leading scorer in Monday night's battle of the NBA's last two undefeated teams.

The team announced that forward Kawhi Leonard will sit out against the Milwaukee Bucks. Leonard is healthy, but being rested by the team.

This is the second time this season that Leonard has sat out a game to rest. The first time was on Oct. 20 when the Raptors defeated the Washington Wizards, 117-113. That game was on the back-end of a back-to-back as Leonard played the night before when the Raptors defeated the Boston Celtics, 113-101.

Monday's game is on the front-end of the Raptors second back-to-back this season. Toronto hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.

The all-star is off to a hot start in his first season with the Raptors, averaging 26.6 points per game and eight rebounds per game.

Leonard won't be the only Raptor out on Monday. OG Anunoby will miss his second straight game due to unknown personal reasons. Anunoby's only start this season was in place of Leonard in Toronto's game against Washington. The second-year forward is averaging 7.2 points per game off the bench this season.

The Raptors also listed Delon Wright as probable and Fred VanVleet as questionable for Monday night's game. Wright has only played one game this season due to a left abductor strain and VanVleet has missed the last two games due to a toe injury.

Luckily for Toronto, the Bucks will be without their top player. Milwaukee announced that all-star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been placed in the NBA's concussion protocol, making him unable to play on Monday.

Antetokounmpo sustained a blow to the head in his team's win over the Orlando Magic on Saturday night. He is averaging 25 points per game and 14.2 rebounds per game.

Both teams hold 6-0 records as the Raptors look to extend their best start in franchise history.
