Stephen Curry is off to another hot start in his 13th year in the NBA.

Curry is averaging 31.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.8 assists while shooting 48.7 percent from the field and 41.4 percent from three to start the season.

It's a continuation of a great playoff run that saw him lead the Golden State Warriors to their fourth championship in eight years. Curry was named Finals MVP for the first time in his career after the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics 4-2.

Curry is the subject of this month's get-to-know.

Get to Know: Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry was selected with the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Warriors.

He has spent his entire NBA career with the Warriors and holds numerous franchise records including games played, assists, steals and points.

In 2021, Curry passed Ray Allen to become the all-time leader in 3-pointers. Later that year, he became the first player in NBA history to knock in 3,000 triples.

An eight-time All-Star and All-NBA performer, two-time scoring champ, two-time league MVP, 2022 All-Star Game MVP and member of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team, Curry has solidified his place in league history as not only the greatest shooter of all-time but one of the greatest players of all-time.

Simply put, Curry changed the way basketball is played.

He made the 3-point shot more popular than anyone that came before him, including his dad, Dell Curry, who played 16 years in the NBA, his final three seasons in Toronto with the Raptors.

He opened the door for the next generation of guards who could use the 3-ball as their greatest weapon like Hawks guard Trae Young.

Curry proved you don't have to be 7-foot tall or even 6-6 to dominate the NBA.

All you need is a shot.
