NBA All-Star weekend hasn't been the warmest event over the past few years, but that's about to change.
Following stops in Ohio, Utah, and Indiana, the NBA's premier event is moving back to the West Coast for 2025 and '26. Both games will be played in California, with the Warriors playing host in '25 and the Clippers doing the honors in '26.
Beyond that, we don't know. The Bucks reportedly submitted bids to host the All-Star Game in 2025 or '26 but lost out. The Suns and Magic are also among the teams that have submitted bids to host future All-Star Games.

Where is the 2025 NBA All-Star Game?
- Date: Feb. 14-16, 2025
- Location: Chase Center, San Francisco, California
The Golden State Warriors will host next year's All-Star festivities for the third time in franchise history.
“We are thrilled to host our NBA All-Star festivities in the San Francisco Bay Area, where there is a long and storied history of basketball,” said Commissioner Adam Silver. “I want to thank Joe Lacob, Peter Guber, and the entire Warriors organization for their support in bringing NBA All-Star back to the Bay Area.”
The 2025 All-Star Game will be played at San Francisco's Chase Center. Other events will take place at Moscone Convention Center, Oakland Arena, and Golden State's facility in Oakland.
The Warriors last hosted All-Star Weekend in 2000. The franchise first hosted the event in 1967.
Where is the 2026 NBA All-Star Game?
- Date: Feb. 13-15, 2026
- Location: Intuit Dome, Los Angeles, California
All-Star 2026 will be hosted by the Clippers, who are set to open their new arena, Intuit Dome, in August of 2024.
“The Intuit Dome promises to present a unique and innovative live basketball experience which will be an extraordinary venue for the NBA All-Star Game in 2026,” said Silver. “Thanks again to Steve Ballmer, Gillian Zucker, and the Clippers organization for their commitment to delivering a world-class showcase of the very best of our sport.”
The All-Star Game will be played at the Intuit Dome. Other events will be held throughout Los Angeles, including the Los Angeles Convention Center and Kia Forum.
This will be a record seventh time the Los Angeles region has hosted the event. The first came in 1963 and the most recent came in 2018.
