Fred VanVleet injury update: Raptors guard exits final regular season game with shoulder bruise image

The Toronto Raptors' quest for a 60th win may have come with a cost.

Guard Fred VanVleet was forced to exit Wednesday's game against the Miami Heat, the final contest of the 2017-18 regular season for both teams, with a right shoulder bruise.

VanVleet played just under 19 minutes on Wednesday and recorded seven points, leaving the game late in the fourth quarter. The 24-year-old is averaging 8.7 points per game this season.

Toronto (59-23) fell to Miami 116-109, coming up short in its bid to get to 60 victories.
