The whole incident stems back to an altercation during a timeout in the New Orleans Pelicans and Minnesota Timberwolves game on Sunday afternoon.

Kyle Anderson enraged teammate Rudy Gobert by telling the three-time Defensive Player of the Year to "Shut the f--- up, b----". A furious Gobert then lashed out at Anderson, punching him in the chest.

Green took the opportunity to settle an old grievance and trolled Gobert online.

Draymond’s message was in reference to a tweet Gobert posted after Green and Warriors teammate Jordan Poole were involved in a similar incident during training camp last October.

Insecurity is always loud.

"It's a little hard to say that when you do really know circumstance," Green said of Gobert's tweet on the Monday episode of his podcast 'The Draymond Green Show'.

Green choose not to 'at' Gobert in his tweet, instead deciding to allow users to fill in the blanks saying:

"I was being very facetious yesterday when I tweeted the same thing. I actually almost 'at-ed' him, just because I'm not a sneak disser, but as I was doing the tweet I was like; it's actually better if I don't."

Green wasn't done taunting Gobert and insinuating about the incident. The four-time NBA champion was brutal in his assessment of Gobert's place in the Timberwolves organization and standing within the locker room:

"Someone leaked audio of Kyle Anderson in the locker room, and in short; Kyle Anderson was saying you guys (Timberwolves head office) have to make some decisions this summer. Y'all baby this dude. Stop. Some decisions need to be made this summer."

Green went on to explain what he meant, saying that the on-court fit between Gobert and the Timberwolves' emerging superstar Anthony Edwards raised questions.

"Everyone kind of had these questions when the trade happened; of how's that going to work? You (Gobert) clog up the paint for Anthony Edwards - a young star."

The aggressive altercation between Gobert and Anderson came as a shock to most, but none more than Green:

"I personally think Rudy Gobert is on the softer side ... he gained a little respect from me because he stood up for himself. I've never really seen the guy stand up for himself. I didn't know if the guy was capable of standing up for himself."

The fallout from the incident with have an effect on the postseason, with ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reporting Gobert has been suspended one game by the Timberwolves and will miss their Play-In tournament encounter with the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.
