DeMar DeRozan's impressive week just got a little bit better.
The Raptors star was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award on Tuesday, the seventh time in his career he has won the award. And after watching him over their past three games, it's easy to see why.
DeRozan averaged 34 points, 4.3 rebounds and four assists last week, helping the Raptors extend their winning streak to six consecutive games and take the lead in the Eastern Conference standings.
The three-time NBA All-Star dropped 28 points, shooting 10-of-15 from the field, in Toronto's win against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. He then put up a career-high 45 points, thanks to a career-best six three-pointers, against the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday.
