Forward C.J. Miles left Monday night's Raptors loss to the New Orleans Pelicans with a right adductor strain, the team announced.

Miles left the game nearly halfway through the second quarter after he missed a shot a couple possessions prior. He registered three points in eight minutes off the bench before leaving the game.

Monday night's injury comes less than a week after Miles missed last Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings due to a right hip bursitis. It was unclear as to how he injured his hip, but he played in the Raptors' win over the New York Knicks on Saturday.

Miles is averaging 5.0 points and 2.0 assists in 15.7 minutes per game coming off the bench. The 14-year veteran's shooting percentages have dropped this season as he's shooting just 30.3 percent from the field this season (compared to 37.9 percent a year ago) and 25.6 percent from 3-point range after shooting 36.1 percent from behind the arc last year.
