Leading into their game on Thursday night against the Nets, the Knicks had lost 13 of their last 16.
Despite that, against the shorthanded Nets, the Knicks were in complete control and led by as many as 28 points in the first half.
However, just like they had for a couple of times earlier in February, the New York franchise gave away a 20-point lead.
Prior to February, the Knicks were 9-0 when leading by 20 or more.

They're now tied with the Pacers for the most blown 20-point leads this season with 3 apiece.
Courtesy of Cam Thomas, who scored 16 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter including the dagger late in the final seconds, the Nets came out on top at the final buzzer 111-106.

With no Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and recently acquired Ben Simmons, the Nets rallied behind Thomas' eruption which was supported by veteran LaMarcus Aldridge, who recorded 11 points and eight rebounds in the final quarter alone.
Four other players scored in double figures including very useful contributions from their recent acquisition from 76ers in Seth Curry (21 points, 6-9 3Ps) and Andre Drummond (11 points, 19 rebounds).

This 28-point comeback is tied for the longest in franchise history. It's the second consecutive victory for the team, following an 11-game losing streak.
For the Knicks, Julius Randle had his fourth straight game with at least 28 points, 10 rebounds and three assists as he finished with 31, 10 and three but his effort alone wasn't enough.
