Anthony Edwards is one of the NBA's best quotes and certainly does not lack confidence.
With Edwards' Timberwolves facing a historically insurmountable 3-0 series deficit to the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals, the 22-year-old helped his team stave off elimination with 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists in Game 4.
After his performance, Edwards' interaction with Cowboys football star Micah Parsons doubled as a guarantee that Minnesota would win Game 5. What exactly did Edwards say to Parsons? Here's how the Wolves young star called his shot for the next game in the series.

What did Anthony Edwards say to Micah Parsons?
As revealed by a reporter, Edwards told someone in the hallway that he would see them again for Game 6 in Dallas. As it turns out, that someone was Parsons.
"What am I supposed to say? I'm supposed to say, 'We gonna lose Game 5?' No, I'm not gonna ever say that," Edwards explained. "Micah Parsons, you know, he was rocking the AE 1s and I told him, he wears a size 14, I'll bring him back some nice shoes for Game 6."
Parsons, a three-time All-Pro LB for the Cowboys, was seated courtside during Minnesota's Game 5 win at Dallas' American Airlines Center.
Parsons' allegiances were split as he sported a Luka Doncic jersey to support the team of his professional home. At the same time, Parsons was wearing Edwards' signature AE 1 sneaker to show support for a fellow Adidas athlete.

This is not the first time Edwards has called his shot this way.
During the Western Conference Semifinals, the Wolves faced elimination after dropping three consecutive games to fall into a 3-2 series deficit. When Minnesota extended the series with a Game 6 win at home, Edwards confirmed that he told a locker room attendant in Denver, "I'll see y'all motherf—ers for Game 7."
That he did.
Edwards and the Timberwolves will look to become the first team in 156 tries to overcome a 3-0 series deficit to win a best-of-seven series in the NBA Playoffs. The first step was extending the series in Game 4. The next step? A Game 5 win to send the series back to Dallas. Then Parsons can receive his new kicks.
