Canadian Andrew Nembhard is withdrawing his name from the 2020 NBA Draft, according to Stadium's Jeff Goodman. The 20-year-old also intends to transfer from the University of Florida, where he spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career.
Nembhard announced his declaration for the draft on April 26.

Nembhard was the starting point guard for the Gators from the moment he stepped on campus. In 2018-19, he made the SEC All-Freshman team after averaging eight points, 5.4 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game.
During his sophomore season, Nembhard became a more assertive scorer, averaging 11.2 PPG to go with 5.6 APG and 3.0 RPG. The Aurora, Ont., native posted four 20-point games — including his first two career double-doubles.
Last season, he also led the conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.2) after placing third in the same category the season before.
As a member of the Canadian national team, Nembhard led the team to a silver medal at the 2018 FIBA U18 Americas tournament in which he averaged 15.7 PPG and 8.8 APG. With the senior national team, he played in FIBA World Cup qualifying games in 2018 and the FIBA World Cup in 2019.
According to the team's website, Nembhard considered Ohio State, USC, Gonzaga and Stanford before ultimately committing to the Gators.
He led Florida to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2018-19. The team was projected to make their fourth consecutive tournament appearance before it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
