The NBA Playoffs are here and as always, there is history to be made.

Nets forward Kevin Durant has climbed up the NBA's all-time playoff leading scorers list in Game 1 against the Celtics. Durant has 4,458 points (and counting) in the playoffs in his career, passing Lakers legend Jerry West (4,457 points) for ninth-most in NBA Playoff history.

Durant will also likely pass 76ers legend Julius Erving (4,580 points) for eighth on the all-time postseason scoring list in these playoffs.

Durant could rise as high as No. 7 on the all-time playoff scoring list this postseason. Aside from LeBron James, who is the all-time playoff leading scorer, there are no other active players in the top-20.

The next closest are James Harden (No. 21, 3,213 points) and Stephen Curry (No. 27, 2,984 points), but neither will likely enter the top-20 in these playoffs, as Wilt Chamberlain (3,607 points) holds down that spot.
