Ben Simmons will be making his long-awaited return to Philadelphia, but not on the court. The Australian will be on the bench for this one, but there is still plenty to talk about in this game as James Harden will be facing off against his former team for the first time since the blockbuster trade.

The Nets are battling for a Play-In seed in the East (which is still shocking to believe) but they got back in the W column with their defeat of the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday.

Kevin Durant is back after missing time with an MCL sprain, and the Nets will also have the services of Kyrie Irving, fresh off a 50-piece against the Hornets, in this game.

Philadelphia is 4-1 in games that Harden has played since the deal and has climbed to second in the Eastern Conference, just three games back of the Miami Heat.

Harden looks rejuvenated since his move, averaging 24.6 points, 12.4 assists and 7.6 rebounds in his five games with Philly.

Even without Simmons on court and playing, this certainly has the potential to have sparks fly and will most certainly be must-watch television.
